Summer Choral Workshops
For Ages 8-14 & Senior High School Students
Spend a week with of intensive musical training with some of the finest vocal directors in the State. Then come to the workshop concert - the results will surprise you!
Youth Chorus and Children’s Choir Summer Choral Workshop
June 25-30, 2007
The Bach Chorale Children’s Choir and Youth Chorus welcomes any young person between the ages of 8 and 14 with an unchanged voice to register for the 2006 Summer Choral Workshop. Children must have completed at least the second grade to participate in this week-long, intensive program.
The workshop will be held June 25-29: Monday through Friday from 1:00-3:30 p.m. in the Miami Elementary School Cafetorium. At 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 30, the Summer Workshop Choir will present a public performance at the West Lafayette High School Auditorium.
The tuition fee of $55 per singer ($50 if received in the BCS office by May 26) is due with your registration form and includes a Summer Workshop t-shirt and daily snacks. The tuition fee does not include tickets to the Saturday concert, which are sold separately.
A limited number of scholarships are available if the tuition fee is a financial hardship. You may request scholarship consideration by writing a letter explaining the financial specifics of your situation and returning it with the registration form(74KB PDF document).
Confirmation letters and further details will be mailed in early June. Please fill out the attached registration form and send it with payment to be received by May 26. The deadline ensures that adequate copies of music and t-shirts will be available for all participants.

Be a part of this classic summer event for singers between the ages 8 - 14. No previous vocal experience is needed to join this chorus of 100 young singers from all across Indiana in an outstanding musical experience.

Senior High Broadway Performing Arts Workshop
The Broadway Performing Arts Workshop provides an opportunity for more Senior Highschool students to work with an outstanding musician in the vocal arts. Last year’s Broadway Workshop was quite a success!
Workshop dates are (TBA), 2007 from 1 to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday.
Public Performance:
